Live from China: First stop, Wu Yi Mountain

Wu Yi Mountain is home to Cliff Teas and the world's oldest red tea Zheng Shan Xiao Zhong. It is also the center of the Chan Tea (Cha) culture.

Six months ago, I was there for the Chan Cha festival. It was also a time when the head monk of the big temple was becoming the head monk (is there a English word for it?). AND it was also a time for Great Red Robe ceremony where top government officials from both Mainland and Taiwan attended. I was able to sneak in with the help of my monk friends :).

According to past experience, internet connection and often times phone connection is very limited once I'm in the mountain. But will try to update whenever I can, so stay tuned! p.s. Facebook is inaccessible...
